Wow, really glad I made a "walk to church on Buddy Break Saturdays" goal when it's 41 degrees outside. Brr! (I know, all you Northerners, I was just there and sorry but 41 is still cold =P)

Last night Julie threw a surprise birthday party for Jose and Jordan since their birthdays were this past week. I got there just in time to see Julie's car pull into the driveway with the surprisees in it, so I had to do things like "not turn my car alarm on yet", "walk the opposite direction down the street I was on", and - oh yeah - "TOTALLY MISS THE SURPRISE PART OF THE SURPRISE PARTY". Epic fail. But they were 15 minutes early so meh =P Anyway it was really, really fun. And I got to see Julie and Jose's new place, which is pretty sweet actually. They have all this amazing furniture already. Including a dining room table that is HUGE and the leafs weren't even in it. I foresee more parties here :) And of course there are pictures on Facebook for those of you lucky enough to be on my friend list there. Oh by the way, Jenn had her baby early this morning - so not quite a New Year's baby but still YAY!!!!

Oh, apparently I missed out on Ryan getting really drunk on New Years Eve. I seriously wish I could have witnessed this. (Actually, I totally could have, haha. There's always next year!)

So far at my new job I've been doing a lot of filing of medical records. Among the interesting things that are found in medical records are: Death certificates, blood sugar test logs with GROSS stains on them, and notes from some very pissed off customers (most of whom are old). The oldest person whose records I've come across so far is 96 years old; the youngest is 3. I think someone I know's mom is one of their customers. People have very weird names, and there are a LOT of old people named Dorothy. My boss's name is Dorothy, but I haven't met her yet so I have no clue if she's old. My maternal grandmother's name is Dorothy. She would be turning 99 this year if she were still alive... I'd say that qualifies as old. I like the people in the medical records department. There are a lot of diabetic men with erectile dysfunction. (The previous 2 statements are 100% unrelated to each other.) So yup, the job is going well. Maybe some day I will get to work in the department I am actually assigned to? LOL.

Jenn DID in fact have her baby on April 1st. Hurray! His name is Alistair Lewis (last name) and he is stinkin adorable. I should take a walk over to Jenn & Dan's apartment and meet this kid. I just had a totally random thought... Dan works at Starbucks, do you think he will put coffee in the baby bottles? Hahahahaha.

I might be going to Sarasota tomorrow, which is exciting because I haven't been there. I've driven through there but never actually visited the place. Does anyone know what we can do there besides drop something off that Brian is selling, and go to the beach? *looks at shypoet* ;) That will be exciting since I have absolutely NO plans this weekend, so if I go tomorrow then I will have plans. w00t.

Hey guess what? My parents are coming to visit on May 9th until the 15th. Yay!!! This means that a)I get to spend Mother's day with my mother, and b)they will get to meet Brian! (I typed "Brain" again... no, I am NOT dating Penny Gadget's freakin dog!!!) Oh and I will get to see my mom now that she's had hip replacement surgery... not that she will look different, but still.

So that's about it for now. Oh and I'm going to see Brand New on Monday! WAHOO!!! :D

today is ashley's 24th birthday! so she had a party at mcdonald's lol... it was pretty much most of the staff and then me. none of the other students came but that's ok. colton stole ashley's french fries lol. he really seems to like french fries. there was a play area but we didn't play on it (well, we're all too old except the schneider kids but they're sick so kerri didn't let them play on there). most of ashley's presents were actually home made: home made lotion from the schneiders, pictures from callie beth and trey (but not colton because "we don't let colton play with the markers yet" lol), a scarf that kelley knit, and a really good strawberry cake that kelley made. (oh and a picture frame that kelley didn't make haha.) and of course i took pictures :)

i have been cleaning since yesterday... my room is still a huge mess but it looks a hell of a lot better than it's looked since last semester!!! you can see the floor now... apparently i have blue carpet ;)

haha i just stopped typing in the middle of the entry.

so anyway... yeah i'm not looking forward to the 4 tests i have next tuesday/wednesday. or well no that's not true. i don't have a problem with taking tests. i just hate studying for them!

hey i just thought of something... since i can't download music, and a bunch of you guys can, you may have some of these mp3's that i am looking for. i'm not going to make people download things for me, i just want you to send me things you already have. i might even be able to trade from the songs i already do have. so anyway, here's the list...

well a lot of things didn't happen today.

i didn't get my psy 201 test back.
erin didn't have her baby yet.
there was no tornado :-P

but some things did happen today.

i took my first w+m "midterm"
we had our first women's bible study tonight!
i ate 2 ramens in one day for like the first time ever.

and some things will happen tomorrow.

the passion for the Christ hits theaters.
it's jen's birthday!
i will sleep a lot.
