But the icing (hardy har har) on the cake would be for the Rangers to not only make the playoffs, but in this exact fashion: The Rangers have two games left including the one I think is already underway tonight, and the Jets have one. The Rangers would lose to the Canes, the Jets would actually win against whoever they're playing, and the Rangers would turn around and win their last game to take the playoff spot, because that last game is against none other than the team who eliminated them last year to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals: the New Jersey Devils.
That would be hilarious.
But since I do not live in a perfect fairy tale world, please just let the Rangers win and the Jets lose. =P And as long as the math works out for CBJ to get in I don't really care how it happens. :D
