you're getting huuunnnngryyyyyyy :D
Feb. 2nd, 2010 11:16 pmI ordered Chinese food today for lunch and it wasn't that great, but they also sell sushi and you have to check out item #53. I lol'd for ages.
Also, I came up with this AWESOME rice that is amazing and I ate the whole bowl. Admittedly I have to give credit to Rachael Ray for some of my methods, but the ingredients were all my idea. I don't know what to call this though. Here's the recipe:
1 bag of Minute Rice (brown)
1 tomato, diced
1 yellow onion, diced
1 can of black beans (drained and rinsed)
As much fresh cilantro as you want!!!
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 tbsp lime juice
Zest of 1 lime
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper
Cook rice according to package instructions (my method of choice is microwaving it for 10 minutes - gives me the perfect amount of time to do the rest.) Heat olive oil & lime juice in pan over medium heat w/salt and pepper. Add tomato, onion, and cilantro and cook for 5 minutes. Mix in black beans and cook for about 3 more minutes. Mix in finished rice and cook for about a minute. Turn off heat and then add lime zest. Mix together and serve. NOM NOM NOM.
So now I have this zested lime leftover. I also have some triple sec. Gonna have to get me some tequila and have myself a par-TAY!!! =P (On the weekend, of course.)
