LOL so hard at smokers complaining about cigarette taxes going up in Florida. This one kid was just like "that's a couple gallons of gas I could get"... wow, and if you didn't smoke, your car would be set for life, dumbass! No but the real reason I find it annoying that they are complaining is that a pack of Marlboro cigarettes is now $3.89 here. For those of you who live in states that pay more realistic cigarette prices, THAT IS A PRICE INCREASE. Do these schmucks not know how good they have it here? $3.89 is fucking cheap. I guess there is going to be a federal tax increase on cigarettes on April 1st so that'll be fun to hear people complaining about that, lol. This makes my selfish side happy since I think smoking is dumb (sorry smokers on my flist). But as far as Florida's own tax increase, this makes my practical side happy because they have been talking a lot in the news lately about how they want to use cigarette taxes to fund health care and other important things so aside from my opinions of smoking, at least some sort of good would come of that.

Yeah... cigarettes are not even necessary! When I came down here because I was so used to CT prices on cigs, I was amazed by how cheap they were. Compared to CT $3.89 is still a steal on a pack of malboro's!

I KNOW RIGHT. (You are talking about VA where they are cheaper right? I know they are not cheap like that in the FC.) Not even the ghetto no-name cigarettes are $3.89 up there anymore, and these idiots are complaining about MARLBORO BEING JUST UNDER 4 BUCKS. *facepalm*

cigs here in ny are like 7-9 dollars depending on the county... it's a waste of money either way!

In VA, cigs are not cheap - they're $5-7 a pack!
