bellapalmeraFirst off, I'd like to say that if you're on my AIM buddy list and you get an IM from me with a demented link, don't click it. I'm not signed on this second but maybe I will go on some time later today.
My parents are here!!! My dad took my car to get it fixed. I CAN USE MY AIR CONDITIONER NOW!!!!!!!!!!! *kisses the A/C* There are still like 1509127 things wrong with it but that was the most important. Anyway we have been having fun. Tonight we are going to some uber expensive restaurant for Mother's Day. I don't really like it but it's her day so HOPEFULLY she made the final decision.
And guess what? Brian met my parents! But don't worry there was no cat milking or urn smashing ;) They get along so I am very happy.
Oh so the rest of "Partypalooza" was fun. I only went to 3 parties instead of 5. Jen's festivities were fun; however, I should never be photographed in a strapless dress. My new icon of the hands is from the scavenger hunt. Which my team majorly lost! Oh well. Julie and Jessica's party was cool... they had an inflatable jousting thing. I didn't try it because I would have gotten my butt kicked. But it was fun watching other people do it! And I got to see some people I haven't seen in freakin forever. Side note: It is always fun when my tall, intimidating male friends tell Brian not to hurt me or they will kill him ;) You will not be hearing about any homicide arrests any time soon though because Brian is wonderful <3 .... /sap!!!!! Anyhoo, when we went from the church to the Prestons' house, Jessica had a severe allergic reaction to something, and went into anaphalactic shock. I don't know how to spell that. She is going to be fine though but she is still kinda recovering from it and had to go to the hospital the other day. Please keep her in your prayers. Oh and all the smoke from the wildfires isn't helping her. (More about that later.) On Sunday I went to an engagement party and got to see even more people I hadn't seen in forever!!!! That was really cool. It was good to see everyone again :)
So yeah, this whole smoke thing. WTF!!!!!! There are these huge wildfires in various parts of GA and FL and the wind has been blowing the smoke all over the state. It Sucks!!! On Friday it was really bad and people couldn't breathe or see while driving and all the cars were covered in ash residue. Blech!!!! Is it bad to say I think we could use a tropical storm or something? Just to help put out the fires. (And, ya know, the fact that we're 6-7 inches behind in the rainfall we have vs. what we need.)
OH GUESS WHAT???? BRIAN FINALLY GOT A JOB!!!! He will be doing overnight stocking at Target. It's good because he's worked there before. And we will still get to hang out, just that he'll be sleeping while most people work, and working while most people sleep. The normal social life time period is still intact though. So yes, I am really excited about this!!! If I didn't mention this yet, his plan is to move down here officially... he had originally come for a visit, he just hasn't left yet and doesn't intend to. He wants to move out of his dad's place, so that will be good once he saves up enough money to do that. (If you know any males in the St. Pete area who need a roommate, that would be pretty cool.)
Also, I love my job. Except my boss wants to make us work Memorial Day. WTF??? Is that legal? But aside from that I love my coworkers and I love mandatory overtime. Can we say time and a half!!!! :D I am sad though because one of my favorite coworkers moved to building 2 so he won't come into Medical Records to scan anymore because they have their own scanner. But there is a big creepy picture of him by our computers LOL.
So now that I just wrote the longest entry ever... peace!!!
