So, I missed the boat...

I never did get out to Clearwater Community Church. And I can totally still go, it's just that Joel doesn't work there anymore. He is now working at a church in Michigan. Which if you hadn't noticed, is nowhere near St. Petersburg, FL. So I'm kinda kicking myself about that, although I have downloaded every one of his sermons. And, ya know, not listened to them yet. :\
One thing I'm kinda sad about is that I figured if he was still in Florida, and I met some guy who was insane enough to want to marry me, that I would contact Joel about conducting our service. Well, that's not exactly happening. Not that I'm getting married any time soon, but you get the idea. Oh well :)
I did find out that Joel had a heart attack in January but fortunately he is fine now. I was so worried when I was Googling him that I was going to find an obituary or something! I mean he's almost 70 years old. So when the thing about the heart attack came up, I almost had one myself. But it was just an update saying he was doing fine.
Well, at least the people of whatever town in Michigan are blessed with his presence :)
