When making Mac N Cheese, never forget the water.
I mean, NEVER EVER forget the WATER!!!!!!!!!!

R.I.P. Bowl, you were awesome!
Yup, so that is what happens when you forget the water. I hope I don't get sick from smoke inhalation!

Date: 2006-09-09 04:40 pm (UTC)I do this sort of thing constantly so don't feel too bad. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a failure at cooking. I once screwed up toast. I can't even make scrambled eggs!
P.S. I hate microwaved KD...stove anyday!

Date: 2006-09-09 05:47 pm (UTC)I've never heard of that brand. US grocery stores carry completely different stuff than Canadian ones (besides name brand). Especially here, the brands are so weird and obscure.

Date: 2006-09-09 07:47 pm (UTC)also this is why pasta is cooked in boiling water in a big pan and cheese sauce made with real cheese in a smaller pan.

Date: 2006-09-09 08:36 pm (UTC)Second: Then why do Mac N Cheese boxes come with microwave instructions? I've been cooking this in the microwave since I was 12 years old and I simply was absent minded on this occasion. I did, however, cook my other box of the stuff on the stove due to the untimely and tragic death of my microwave. It was good ;)
