Minnasoooooooooda.
Jul. 3rd, 2006 06:23 pmI had such a great weekend! I am so amazed that everything went without a hi--uh, I guess I can't say that when I'm talking about going to weddings now can I? hahah.
I got in on Friday, and went to Super Target. Which was more like Super DUPER Target. IT WAS THE SIZE OF CANADA I SWEAR. I ended up spending like $50 there!
Saturday I drove over to Atwater which was about 1.5 hrs from where I was staying. Let me just tell you, there is NOTHING in that part of MN. There's a few scattered farms and a LOT of cornfields and other such greenery. I could never EVER live there. I don't know how people do it. Anyway, Matt and Amanda's wedding was fun. They high fived at the end, haha. They are so cute and I am so happy for them! It's fun for me because I was there when they met, which was 4.5 years ago!!! So I am glad they finally got married, I knew all along they'd end up married haha.
After that I drove back to Chaska for Jason and Tawnya's wedding. It was SO pretty. Tawnya looked amazing and the bridesmaids were so pretty (and I have to give a major shout out to Kim on this one... she's probably sick of hearing this from everyone but she wore all of the following: a dress, PINK, and makeup. This is not the Kim I know and love, but she pulled it off very well!), the place where the wedding was held was so pretty, the weather was perfect, etc etc etc. The reception was a BLAST! The Tampa guests (the ones who weren't in the wedding party) were at the same table and then some friends of Jason's were with us and we all got along well. Our table is the best!!! There was much dancing and fun times had by all. Afterwards we all hung out until 3am playing Mafia/Catch Phrase.
Sunday I went to the Mall of America because hello, I'm a girl and it's a mall. If you haven't listened to my phone post, PLEASE DO SO NOW. But I'll summarize anyway: I got there before it opened, accidentally went in the employee entrance of Nordstrom, and they kicked me out. Well at least they kicked me out until it opened haha. Anyway that mall is GINORMOUSLY HUMONGOUS. I didn't go on any of the rides or even buy anything (well a few souvenirs) but at least I can say I have been there. Then went to the airport and flew back here. It ended up Tiffany was on my flight, and we met this girl on the layover in Atlanta, she was flying to Tampa to see her boyfriend. There was some quality bonding time going on at gate C14... haha.
I'll put a link to pictures eventually... actually if you're on Facebook you can see the pics from Jason and Tawnya's wedding.
So I had to work today and I was freaking exhausted but I got through it and I have tomorrow OFF!!! Wahoo! Everyone have an awesome and safe 4th of July :D
