Yeah, after the whole OH NOES WOE IZ MEEEE entry there, I come bearing good news.

I GOT A JOB!!!!

Wahooooo! Yep, I start on Wednesday... I will be doing Employment Verification checks via the phone/internet, full time, temp-to-perm, and get paid $9.25/hr. I'm pretty stinkin excited about that! ASFSDFASDSDASFSAFYAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!

OK, so I am getting a little excited in the El Jay here.... well let's see, Brian left last night so right now he is probably sitting in a bus station in Dalton, GA waiting for his step dad to get him. Sounds like fun! I'd miss him a lot more if he wasn't signing on tomorrow night during American Idol. That show is not the same without IMing him during the commercials haha. If anyone else is watching the 2-hour premiere, please feel free to IM me during the commercials, I am available for discussion!

Anyway tomorrow morning I have to get drug tested for the job... guess I should go work on getting all that crack out of my system :) Haha clearly I am joking. This will be my first drug test... oooh I'm growing up or something! I will have to drink a lot of liquids before I go there so I can pee... even though I usually have to pee every 2 seconds anyway. (Yup, TMI.)

We went to the beach today... it was fun. I hung out on the playground with the girls and the Schneider kids... it occured to me while I was there that I hadn't seen them in 8 months! OMG COLTON CAN TALK NOW. LIKE ACTUAL WORDS. It's insane how much those kids have grown up over the last few years. Well anyway it was cool hangin out with them and the other Crusade people.

Congrats on the job!

So what exactly do you do besides verify employance (that's not a word but I don't care! haha)? Who are you verifying it for?

P.S. I am jealous. Hook me up with something and I'll move to Florida just to avoid your fellow BH/TW/RR customers, haha.

But then if you wanted internet you'd pretty much have to become one of the BH/TW/RR customers. Unless you got Verizon DSL, which I've heard bad things about.

Hahaha...another call centre in this city does Verizon support.

At least if I had to be a BH/TW/RR customer, I could do all the troubleshooting steps if I ever had a problem, then call in and be like, "Oh hey Frank! How's Canada? Yep..done all the steps! Send someone out!" Hahaha.

It's the same, no doubt about it. Heather is going to be your manager, unless you're working off the Adrem system, but I doubt they're going to do that. It's an easy job. They'll start you out doing GEs, getting dates of employment and title only. GE is their biggest client, and they're in danger of losing them so it's important that you try everything before putting a verification out as "unable to verify..."

Once you're hired on, Choice Point has great benefits.
