and now the ever awaited story of my road trip...
we left on tuesday (1/14) and we got as far as north carolina until we got tired. so we stayed at a hotel and the next morning ate at waffle house. we got to cordele ga when my car decided to stop working. turns out my engine bolts fell off (i had actually run one over in south carolina) and somehow this caused a hole in the oil filter (either the engine hit it when it dropped, or one of the bolts went through it) so all my oil leaked out. so we stayed in cordele for 2 nights (hickville USA) and rented a car so we could go find civilization (which consisted entirely of walmart, winn dixie, a couple hotels, and denny's) and then my car got fixed and we went to tampa and got there at 7:30 pm on friday 1/17. yay. i did 500 miles of the driving, well i mean that is an estimate i didnt do all the math yet.
last night --> party at la casa de leland. fun times. many people were there. we played catch phrase (and honestly, why was that guy such a stickler for the rules. it was way more confusing then it had to be and we could have just had FUN if we did it the easy way but noooo mr. ruley-rules wouldn't let us! haha ok im done) and there was guitar playing and discussions about hair and root beer floats (ha i shoulda wore my root beer shirt yesterday [im wearing it today] in fact i wore it the last time leland had a party hahaha) and noah watched a really loud war movie haha. dude they have this whole room dedicated to coca cola it was like who needs atlanta's world of coke you can just go to the leland's and see their coke room. oh and apparently you can cut pizza with scissors? right.
this morning i went to church with chris and i drove him home along with these 2 kids and one of them was being mega annoying he was beating chris up with my powerpuff girls balloon and it was distracting me while i was trying to drive and stuff. grrr. (although "distraction is better than death", even though it can lead to it!)
