A case of Epic Fail.
Jun. 19th, 2008 09:23 amA temp agency that shall remain nameless due to their epic failure contacted me yesterday to offer me a position that started today. I was like YES PLZ. So I get there this morning and there are 2 of us there. I'm like ok, so there's 2 of us, thinking "maybe they just needed 2 people". The receptionist is like... o_O. The other person there is also like... o_O. So the receptionist talks to whoever and says to me that the lady from nameless temp agency will call my cell phone. So I get the call and apparently they had been unable to contact my most recent employer, so supposedly other lady had left me a message. I get transfered to other lady and ask her to verify what number she'd left a message with. She reads me my old CT cell phone number which I have not used for a year and a half. Um, wat. So I still have no job, but at least they know my right phone number now. (Odd how one person had the right number but the other person did not.)
ETA: I just realized. The lady who called my wrong number, she was the one who originally had contacted me about the position. AT MY CORRECT NUMBER. ughhhhhhhhWTF.
