This entire entry is about work =P
Oct. 6th, 2006 11:06 pmHey kids guess what? My work KICKS ASS and decided I can have December 26th off. That means I GET TO GO HOME FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not that I miss the state of CT a whole lot but Christmas in FL sucked last year... it wasn't even cold! Christmas at home is way better. I won't be around very long... actually it will be a very brief time... but YAY I CAN GO HOME!!!
Another reason why my work is awesome: It's very theraputic (however that's spelled). I can chill in my little cubicle and just zone out and think about everything that's going on in my life. If I need to cry about it, nobody will notice. If I need to be pissed off, I can type faster. If I need to smile, I'm all over that. And I actually do really good work when my mind is focused on all that stuff. I know that sounds weird but it's true! And honestly, I like it better when Carmelle and Melanie aren't there. Not because I have a problem w/them- they're both really nice actually- but I don't have to worry about if they go on break or if Carmelle wants to ask me stupid questions all day (she does this), I can be independent and do what I want. Funny how we all take our break "together" but then we separate... Carmelle calls her boyfriend, Melanie smokes her cigarette, and I just chill in the break room. What's the point? Haha. Anyway I like my job, when they're not being stupid and not having enough work for us temps to work an 8 hour day =P
This week was actually Employee Appreciation Week... we got to wear jeans all week long and today we got free food. Actually yesterday our department bought us pizza too. AND CRAZY BREAD!!! OMG I love crazy bread. I wish every week was Employee Appreciation Week. Oh, and I think that cute boy got fired. Guess they didn't "appreciate" him! (Well, when he comes in like 5 hours late half the time, I can see why.) He was a punkface anyway. LOSER. And GET YOUR TEETH FIXED. Haha, I'm nice.
