howdy boys and girls, i's gonna type up a lil' ol' entry about my saturday, k?

first i went to williams park in st. pete where we did cool stuff for people who have less stuff then us, to be politically correct about it or something ;) so yea dan was sposta pick me up at 8, he was definitely like half an hour late. but, he bought me hot chocolate so that made everything better. (even if it was from starSUCKS!!!! haha) it was 46 degrees outside, by the way. so for those of you who are from ct, picture this... traci standing in the sun, next to palm trees, wearing a hoodie and jeans, with my hands in the sleeves to keep warm. are you laughing yet? i was. so yeah, we went to spc to do some carpooling and leland and this other girl kelley were there, so leland drove us to the pizark.

wow i can't believe i just devoted that much time to writing about how we got there.

anyhoo, we got there and signed in and all, and we started out putting little turkey centerpiece things on the table. half the turkeys were deformed but shh! then we decided to do a job that little girls couldn't do, even though i'm 5. so we were at the clothing donation section for a couple hours, it was good stuff. i did much folding. there were 2 shirts there i wanted but once again, shh! i felt all special because this lady wanted a tye dye shirt and i had seen one and i found it for her! (actually the first time i looked i didn't see it but then i saw it when i wasn't looking.) and then this guy who required rather large clothing, i found him a shirt. it was green and yellow plaid on a white background, nice. (yeah and it really goes with the maroon jacket that leland found him... jk haha) so yeah that was fun.

then we did the feeding part and me and kelley were supposed to be servers cause some lady drew blue hearts on our nametags, yah i don't think we served anyone :-P they definitely picked out about 80 people to serve so the other 78 of them beat us to it. i feel really bad about that actually. but then we didn't know where leland and dan were so we went to look for them in the kitchen and ended up staying there cause people were eating so we ate too, yum. they had good potatoes. the rest of the food, i didn't think was super yummy but it wasn't specifically for us so yeah.

so back to when they started feeding everyone outside, some dude gave a little speech on jeremiah 29:11 (for i know the plans i have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future) and how God's plan for us is way mad cool and whatnot, and a whole bunch of people went up when they asked who received Christ, it was seriously awesome. i almost cried. yay for God!

then leland and dan found us and leland had bought blankets for the big guy but we couldn't find him so that was sad but she's gonna find him and get him the blankets eventually, right? :) they ate and we played a lovely game of hangman. you would not believe how long it took people to guess the word "botany" in the sentence "botany is cool", when the clue was "botany" and it was written above the blank letters. (it ended up saying "botañy is cool" haha). so they finished their food and we left.

back at spc, kelley left (tear, tear) and leland and dan busted out some rastlin'. they tied. oh, can i just say how fun it is to tickle people who are very ticklish? hehe. oh and i practiced my mad soccer skills by kicking these weird nut thingies from a tree into the lake/pond/whatever it was. we ended up going to leland's grandma's hizouse and watching a really dumb song from james and the giant peach. and leland's GRANDMA's dog sat on my lap, aww how cute. we called josh and he gave us the most astounding news of the century: he had to pee. so now he has to write a 600 word essay on it. (it was only 500 but he had to pee again when he got to the hizouse.) after 29047124 years of doing nothing, we got derrrr-ections to stevaruni's pad and retrieved the dog cuz it ran away hehe and then we got chris and were on our way.

so we went to this kid steve's birthday party. he lives in a town called hudson, which is south of southeast guam, which is up north. (actually its about 15 miles north of new port richey, for you floridians.) we listened to some lovely music such as the hippity hoppity song, and uhhh some other stuff. chris decided we were cooler than leland so he drove with us haha. oh yeah and some monkey butt had a sign which said "Jesus is coming to kill everyone except for born-again christians" uhhh no. and can i just say that hudson has the most well paved streets this side of the mississippi.

we went inside and hung out for a bit and then they built a REALLY BIG bonfire outside where it was really cold so we all sat by the fire and it was fun times. nobody likes quentin cause he's a pompous loser. (thanks katie for the definition of "pompous") anyway so the horses got out of their stable thingies and that was scary, and i was holding steve's cat cause it was soooo cute but then when the horse thing happened it got all scared, and i didn't want it to get trampled by the horses but we got that shiznat under control, yo. dude the cat thinks everything is its mother's breast and suckles on it, like my right elbow for instance. oh and i went for a walk cuz i was getting in a funky mood, during which time josh stole my dr. pepper but that's okay :) so yeah it was good times, yo.

then we went inside and played catch phrase which is THE BESTEST GAME EVER IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, it's up there with scattergories and dream phone. there was much fun being had during that game. oh and the answer to everything was "chesticles".

so at like 11:15ish we left and dan drove me back to UT and i returned to my away message informing me that i had 100 IMs from matt. loser :-P
